I’m sure these have been here for a while, and I would have seen them much sooner, except I’m not familiar with where to look for these types of things here. I know where they are at home.

I also had some more visitors to my bird feeder Saturday. This little guy was picking up some of the seeds that the birds had dropped.

After a while he had some company cleaning up the mess.
They both hung out there for a while until I finally gave in and opened the window. that had been the plan all along, to open the window and set my plants outside for some sunshine, but I didn’t want to scare them away.
This other little chipmunk didn’t move though. I don’t know what it was doing, it was there for a while.
It was also back again on Sunday morning in the same spot, just sitting there. I tried to use the telephoto lens to take that picture because it was so far away, but that lens is for a 35mm camera, so you have to set everything manually on the digital and I didn’t have enough time to figure it out before it was gone, so this is a little dark.
When we were little we had a chipmunk living under our porch in the cracks in between the stones. We used to feed it peanuts and I think we named it Chippy. I know, not very original, but we were kids. What do you expect? (btw, I still call all chipmunks Chippy. I was talking to these ones out the window while I was taking the pictures)

btw: It’s National Chip and Dip Day! We’re celebrating at work!
