For the first night of our trip, I had made reservations for us to stay at the 1810 House B&B in Wolfeboro, NH. Wolfeboro is a beautiful town on Lake Winnipesaukee about two hours south of Mount Washington, where we planned to go the second day.

The B&B was wonderful. It is run by a woman named Cyndi who cooks you a delicious breakfast each morning and will take wonderful care of you. Plus there’s a huge barn filled with antiques right there! We ended up staying there a second night, because the morning of the wedding, I was stung by a bee on my toe and it was swollen and itchy all day on Sunday. We had planned to do some backpacking and camp Monday night, but hiking wasn’t going to work out well with my toe. Such a little thing causing a big problem.

This was our room. The bathroom is off to the right, complete with a jacuzzi tub. By the way, this is what driving all day will do to you. And I just noticed that he’s styling with a tie-dye and plaid combo.

Lake Wentworth is close enough to walk to. I’m kind of disappointed though, because we never had the chance to swim anywhere.

But isn’t it beautiful?

We ate dinner at the Bayside Grill and Tavern. We sat outside, basically on the water in a quiet little bay. Oh, and the food was good too.

Guess what we had for dinner the next night.

  1. Had to laugh at the tie-dye/plaid combo! Love the ceiling beams in that room. ~Lili
